Today, explore Kashgar in depth. Start at 9:00 AM with a visit to the Id Kah Mosque(艾提尕尔清真寺), China’s largest mosque, to experience the region’s vibrant Islamic culture. At 10:30 AM, head to the historic Old Town, where you can enjoy the lively Maxilap show, celebrating Uighur traditions. Take a break at a centuries-old tea house, enjoying local rose tea and nang bread.
After lunch, visit Handicraft Street, known for its artisanal workshops showcasing Central Asian craftsmanship. Then, explore the bustling Sunday Bazaar, which includes a covered market with a variety of goods and an outdoor Animal Bazaar. Here, you’ll see farmers and buyers engaging in traditional bartering, surrounded by livestock and lively activity.
Conclude your day with a night flight to Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang.

As the day comes to a close, board the soft sleeper train bound for Xi’an.

The Terracotta Army, with over 7,000 figures, was built to guard the emperor in the afterlife, showcasing ancient China’s grandeur and craftsmanship.

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at your hotel, then head to the Mutianyu Great Wall(慕田峪长城), located about 73 kilometers northeast of Beijing. This well-preserved section offers stunning views and a chance to explore one of China’s most iconic landmarks. You’ll have plenty of time to hike along the wall, enjoying the scenery and learning about its history from your guide.
Upon returning to Beijing, take a moment to visit the iconic 2008 Olympic Sites. Stop for a photo opportunity at the Beijing National Stadium(鸟巢), famously known as the Bird’s Nest, and the Beijing National Aquatic Centre(水立方). These architectural marvels are not only testaments to Beijing’s modern infrastructure but also symbols of the city’s vibrant cultural and sporting heritage.

The best time to visit Kashgar and Turpan is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October), when the weather is mild and pleasant.
