Arrive in Luoyang, where our English-speaking guide will meet you at the railway station. Transfer to your hotel and take a short rest.
Start your tour at the Longmen Grottoes(龙门石窟), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the stunning Buddhist carvings and statues from the Northern Wei Dynasty. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Our guide will suggest authentic Luoyang dishes.
In the afternoon, visit the White Horse Temple(白马寺). Built in AD 68, it is known as the birthplace of Chinese Buddhism. Walk through its peaceful grounds and explore its historic halls.
Next, visit the Museum of Royal Chariot and Horse Pits. See ancient chariots and horse remains from the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. Learn about Luoyang’s imperial history. After the tour, have dinner at your own pace. Relax at your hotel and prepare for another exciting day.
L, D, Stay in Luoyang
After breakfast, drive to Shaolin Temple(少林寺) in Dengfeng City. The journey takes about two hours. This temple is the birthplace of Shaolin Kung Fu and has a rich history.
Visit the main halls and learn about Shaolin martial arts. Watch an exciting Kung Fu performance(功夫表演) by the temple’s monks. If interested, join a short Kung Fu lesson at a nearby school. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and have a short rest.
After lunch, transfer back to Luoyang Railway Station for departure. If needed, we can arrange transportation to Zhengzhou Airport or Railway Station, about 90 kilometers away.

Visiting the Longmen Grottoes usually takes about 2–3 hours, allowing enough time to admire the intricate Buddhist carvings. The White Horse Temple visit takes around 1–2 hours to explore its historic halls and serene surroundings.
Yes! During the visit to Shaolin Temple, you can watch an authentic Kung Fu performance by the monks. If interested, you can also participate in a short Kung Fu lesson at a nearby school for a hands-on experience.
You can reach Luoyang by high-speed train from major cities like Beijing, Xi’an, or Shanghai. After the tour, we provide transfers to Luoyang Railway Station. If needed, we can also arrange transportation to Zhengzhou Airport or Railway Station.

The second day of this tour was absolutely incredible. Shaolin Temple is a must-see for anyone interested in martial arts or Chinese history. The temple itself was beautiful and full of rich history. It was so cool to see the monks perform up close. After the performance, we had a great lunch at a local spot before heading back to Luoyang. The whole day was full of excitement, and it was a great way to end the tour. I left with unforgettable memories!
